Our Ministries
We are here to gather around God’s Word, grow in our faith, and go with the life-giving message of the Gospel to all nations.
Worship
We gather together for worship regularly at Shepherd of the Valley. Our current services are held at:
-
Sunday's – 9AM (Worship); 10 AM (Education Hour)
-
Summer – Monday's – 6:30PM
Every first and third Sunday of the month we celebrate the Lord's Supper.
Sunday School
We love kids and want to provide a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn about God's love. Our children's ministry offers age-appropriate activities and lessons that help kids grow in their faith and develop a sense of community. We have a traditional Sunday School where kids learn Bible stories, a Kid's Christmas Program, and much more to offer families!
5th-8th Grade Confirmation
This class is designed for middle schoolers. As they get ready to enter high school, these young people learn the basics of their faith. There's an emphasis on Bible stories, Christian doctrine, and personal application. Throughout this study, they are preparing themselves to receive their first communion at the end of the eighth grade year.
