The members of Shepherd of the Valley exist to
strengthen and encourage one another with the Word of God and to use our God
given gifts to reach out to those not reached in our community and beyond
with the message of Jesus Christ our Savior.
We believe that God’s grace welcomes you, no matter who you
are or where you come from. We believe that Jesus Christ is the true Savior of
all people. By his perfect life, innocent death, and triumphant resurrection he
saves all lost sinners even without our help.
Jesus Christ makes us special people, right with God and
ready for life! We learn this from the Bible, God’s perfect message of grace and
guidance for us.
Whether you are a seasoned Lutheran, a curious observer with
little religious background, or a spiritual person looking to return to the
church, we invite you to explore our beliefs further. If you are looking for a
structured outline of our beliefs, the best way for us to help you is personal
interaction between you and our pastor – e-mail him with your questions, or plan
to attend one of our Bible Information Classes held throughout the year. These
classes are designed for non-members to explore, without obligation, what we
believe as found in the Bible.
